The maritime world is the home of ancestral beliefs and legends which still bound nowadays practices. The film and the performance conjugate a sociological fantasy and a documented study of these see rituals.

Built from interviews of sailing specialists, this project questions the dramatization of the documentary speech. In between fiction and roles-play surfaces a catalogue of references of all what builds our representations of the see world. The aim is to explore a cultural fantasy to re-stage it in another context. A transfer which includes its non-transferable part of humor, a sliding toward some form of documentary-comedy.

Respectively with a cinema and performing art background, Louise Hémon and Emilie Rousset cross their practices and conceive together both a performance and a film, presented successively and closely nested.
